Art has always been my way of relaxing whether it is making my own flame work beads, creating unique one of a kind jewelry pieces, painting with watercolors or Zen Doodling, and lately writing and illustrating children’s books using Procreate to digitally create my illustrations.
I am a retired educator. I have taught at all levels from first grade to graduate school. I have been a principal and a district-wide administrator. My love of art has always been a part of what I do. I love the challenge of learning something new.
I am currently president of Artistic Roots, a non-profit cooperative gallery and teaching center in Plymouth, New Hampshire. My affiliation with this organization has broadened my horizons for what I can do and I love collaborating with my fellow artisans. Most recently adding wood burning to my list of activities. A friend turns wooden bowls, plates, candlesticks, and more and I get to add my designs to our joint creations.
